DI Liam McLusky, freshly transferred from Southampton and just recovered from having been injured in the line of duty, has no time to settle in before he is pushed in at the deep end in a new and unfamiliar city. Everyday objects, transformed into explosive devises by a man trying to revenge himself on the world for reasons unknown, are being left across Bristol, maiming or killing those who pick them up. The main character was quirky humorous and likable. The plot was twisty and had a few different lines going on at once . It was a fast read and I also enjoyed the narration. I liked it very much!

Fast paced "Falling More Slowly"

Good story, well-written, good characters. Genuine suspense. Worth a credit even for those who spend them sparingly.

Good Reading

Yep Im enjoying this book only half way through and looking at getting the next book in the series interesting story line and fast paced. usuale detective story about a guy whos been through the force and had a few 'problems and dosent get on with his boss but the crimes he's involved in are interesting.
