Great story! Narration was disappointing.

This was a fun time travel love story.
The biggest drawback was that it was narrated by virtual voice. AI speaks what is actually written, so when a word is misspelled, AI reads the misspelling.
Just a few examples... one of the characters names is Colin, however the pronunciation alterned between Colin and Colon... as in a portion of the bowel... Breanna was mispronounced every single time. Took a couple of times before I realized that "f-i-e-t" was phytt. There were many other irritating mispronunciations. The listener really has to keep up with who is saying what, because everything is basically just a book long run on sentence.
Despite the terrible virtual voice this is a good book.

Lack of individual characters

Disliked the narration, no character difference just a bland reading with no depth. I generally look for Irish accents.

Almost There

This book had the foundation for a great storyline, but it felt flat instead. Too much time was spent repeating (over and over again) the protagonists' desires and hesitations, both in their inner thoughts and to all their friends. This book could have been half as long.

Good story Bad narration!

The virtual voice narration took away so much from the story. It was hard to keep track of who was talking and then throw in the weird cadence it just made it enjoyable. I powered through to the end, but in reality, it was just a big waste of time.

Pass!

The AI generated voice was pretty terrible. Made the story very difficult to listen to. I was hopeful when I first downloaded and really made an effort to enjoy, but I only made it several chapters in before I said “no more!”
