Notable children's writer Barbara O'Connor has written several popular children's books, including Beethoven in Paradise. In Fame and Glory, Bird Weaver has two goals. She wants to be famous and to go to Disney World. Bird might be able to make her dreams come true when her school has a spelling bee. Dretzin's sunny narration takes listeners to Bird's world in Freedom, Georgia.

I did not enjoy this book because it is not of my interest subject. It was cute and sometimes funny, but I am more of a mystery reader . This would certainly be of interest to many others who like a nice, funny and informative book like this. I don’t know why such a long review is required when I really don’t have that much to say about this nice book- just not for me-Jeeves!

Just not my interest.
