A witch and a mortal walk into a store... No, this isn’t the beginning of a bad joke. Because they both came into Thea Beal’s little craft store in the sleepy town of Ardensville, Illinois. They bought crafts and went their way. A few hours later, the witch, Rebecca was found dead! Thea isn’t like other witches. She just wants to run a craft store with Sybil, her fluffy orange kitten familiar. When she’s not working on her store, she wants to learn more magic from her quirky and eccentric, but highly skilled magic user, Granny. Or...dream ooey-gooey thoughts of the dreamy bear shifter detective, Blaine Coburn. But as much as Thea wants to be left alone, a murder has broken the quiet. Now, suspects start turning up in every corner of the town. Turns out the quieter and smaller the town, the more secrets abound. And this murder of a witch has the town’s paranormal residents looking around nervously. Because it quickly becomes clear that while it was the first, it might not be the last murder. Looks like it’s time for Thea to get her broomstick. Because she has some cleaning up to do!
