Everyone loves a vacation...but the beauty of making that vacation into a road trip is that the fun starts as soon as you get in the car. It’s as much about the journey as it is about the destination - and if you’ve got kids, those drives will be remembered for a lifetime.

Of course, a successful road trip means a little more than buckling up and setting off for your final destination. It needs a little more planning and pizazz than your regular drive to the grocery store. And that’s where a comprehensive family road tripping guide comes in: You’ll learn everything you need to know in order to plan an exciting, memorable, and entertaining trip for the whole family - no matter what ages your kids are.

In the Family Road Trip Planning Guide, you’ll find the ultimate guide to the road trip of a lifetime. You’ll discover:

  • How to pick the perfect destination for the whole family
  • How to make sure the route you choose is at least as exciting as the end point
  • Road-trip packing 101: how to make sure everyone has everything (and it all fits in the car comfortably)
  • The weird and wonderful roadside attractions you can include on your trip - and how to plan them into your route
  • The one surprising thing you can pack to give your kids purpose (and buy yourself a moment of quiet time at the end of the day)
  • Special advice for dog owners: how to make Fido your road trip sidekick
  • The benefits of having two qualified drivers - and how you can use them for road trip gains
  • Budgeting tips and tricks so you can make sure your road trip really happens

And much more.

If you’ve ever thought you’d have to put that dream road trip on hold until your kids are older, think again. A road trip is the perfect experience for family bonding - and with a little careful planning and a whole lot of anticipation, you can take your family on an adventure that will give them a lifetime’s worth of memories.

We are getting ready to go on a family trip soon and this book came at just the right time! Practical advice and a quick listen. There really were quite a few things that I was able to gain for our trip ahead. Totally worth the listen to help with planning and the actual trip. Fun little ideas to help kiddos have a good time on the trip as well as tips if you have pets you are taking along as well.

So Thankful for this Book!

Planning a family road trip has been some sort of a nightmare for us. Making sure everything is booked and we packed everything we need. Even after double checking and tripping checking our checklist, not once have one of us not said, "oh you know what I forgot". This guide is very practical and helpful, especially for family with children and pets. Keeping the little ones occupied during the long drive can more tiring than the drive itself. We appreciate the advice provided in this book!

This book is more like a survival guide for road trips, especially with the current pandemic. I can't tell you how many times my family and I took a road trip unprepared. This book teaches you how to be better prepared on a road trip and ways to keep you and your family safe. Plus, it teaches you ways to make your trips more enjoyable.
I remember growing up as a child and going on road trips with my family from Florida to Virginia, which was a 14-hour road trip. My dad would always forget something 2-hours into our trip and have to turn around to go back home to get it. This would sometimes happen 2 or 3 times each trip. It drove me crazy. Now, I'm grown up and find myself doing the same exact thing. I know after reading this book and following its advice, I will be so much more prepared for each trip. This book also taught me a better way to route my road trips to not only make them fun, but safer, which is a big deal for me.

My family and I travel quite a bit, and usually by means of our own vehicle. as we love road trips. Although I'm quite experienced in traveling, I found some very informative and helpful tips in this guide. It's something you can put on your headphones while you are packing, just in case you didn't think of something essential! It also includes some very helpful traveling websites I was not aware of. I recommend listening to this a day or two before your trip, and also while you pack the car, truck or van!

Very Informative
