After reading this book I set boundaries with some people in my life and they responded just like how the author described they would act but it felt good. At 30 yrs old I’m finally standing up for myself and my children. The narcissistic family cycle ends with me. 🙌🏽

I went no contact with my mother for the emotional things she has done. I felt bad because I've been trained that's my mom. But after trying to have a conversation with her about the pain and her playing victim this last time I was done. this book help me realize I'm not wrong. it's ok to protect ME and MY mental health. I changed a lot of things with my own child and we have an amazing relationship. It's not my job to fix what I didn't break. And now I can truly start to heal from all that trauma and dysfunction that I thought was normal. I am no longer the black sheep of my family because I have created a family that loves and cherish me for being me! and that feels amazing 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. thank you for this book. It is giving me the tools I need to be a better me and completely heal from what I do not deserve to carry anymore!
