I grew up captivated by Prince’s music and style. Hearing first-hand of Prince’s journey and the man who discovered, coached, and thrust him into the limelight was captivating. I did learn that actor Richard Harris was a singer! Who knew? Husney described each encounter entertainingly, vividly, and with passion. Listeners cannot help but experience Husney’s encounters through his words. His format is well-structured and easy to follow, allowing his listeners to delve deeper into the world of these folks and the author.

As the narrator, Owen Husney delivers an entertaining story that projects his passion, disappointment, fears, and more. Husney voices his story clearly as if he is sitting right there talking with you one-on-one. His down-to-earth style is rich leaving the listener to feel the wonder of his experiences because he allows those feelings to flow through his words.

Experience his encounters through his words. While there are very talented narrators who might have been able to capture the wonder and emotions precisely like the author, I feel Husney did a great job! I recommend this audiobook.
