Born in 1940, Jerry grew up in the shadow of Yellowstone Park, where farm chores, community bonds, and the hard lessons of loss shaped his early years. Those experiences gave him resourcefulness, determination, and a belief in the value of relationships—qualities that carried him far beyond the fields of his childhood. His journey took him from the classrooms of Montana State to the United States Air Force, where he worked on emerging computer technologies and served at the Pentagon during a time of national challenge. From there, his career thrived at United Airlines, where he managed complex technical projects and eventually led global teams through the Galileo project in Europe. Throughout every season, Jerry’s priorities stayed clear: faith, family, and community. With his wife, Judi, he built a life full of love, service, and adventure, supporting their children, traveling widely, and giving back through local organizations. Even in the face of illness and personal loss, he continued to live with courage and gratitude. ‘Farm Boy From Wyoming’ is both a personal history and a reflection on values that endure across generations.
