Can the divided settlers face the challenges of adapting to their new environment in spite of their conflicts? And if they do, will they lose their humanity in the process?

Pamela Sargent is the author of many highly praised novels for young adults and adults, including Earthseed, an ALA Best Book for Young Adults. She has won the Nebula and Locus awards and has been a finalist for the Hugo Award and the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award.

What made the experience of listening to Farseed the most enjoyable?

This story picks up once Ship arrives at its destination, and humanity with its strengths and weaknesses plays out. It's a new world as promised, but not everything is sunshine & roses as the different personalities struggle to lead the settlers to a successful transition.
