Most practical writing book I've read so far

Been writing a long time and reading books on writing and this is the MOST practical book I've ever stumbled upon. I'm not writing a memoir currently but this book is definitely not just for writing memoirs. All the things I've wondered about plotting and how to write about people you know and the sequence of how to edit properly, are all now finally answered! Thank you patron goddess of writing, Rachel Heron!

Absolutely loved it

I was searching for info online about how to start writing my memoir. I came across a video with Rachael in it, and subsequently grabbed her book on Audible. It was exactly what I needed, and I finished it in the past 2 days. I know I’ll be referring to it more as I dive into the writing process. Thank you!!

Motivational

This is the first audible book I finished. Inspirational and motivational I followed her writing prompts and feel good about my dream of writing a memoir. Time to get cracking!

Some good pointers, and some selling

I really appreciate the insights and warnings about pursuing this art form. I thought the author had valuable insights to share. However, mixed in with that seemed to be a lot of selling other products. I understand buying certain products can help people get a leg up, but one was for having the internet turned off. Why are you selling to me what airplane mode does for free?
Again, good insights, but it felt like each chapter had a dedicated section to promoting other products.
