I liked the voice the best. thought it was a bit slow at times.

the narrative

I enjoyed this story and was entertained. I was put off by the virtual reading. It took away from key elements because it couldn’t understand the nuances of the story. An example is 10 codes on a police radio or explaining bullet caliber. It was annoying. And the vocal inflection was all wrong and I had to re-listen to certain parts because it was confusing.

Good story bad narration

I enjoyed this one. I thought the virtual voice did a great job, and I laughed at the few words that it messed up. I Love reading books that take place where I grew up. Looking forward to the next one.
