A few months ago I received this email from a client:

”Hi Boomy. I have not made much headway with my business idea. I am too afraid to not make money... I am teaching right now. I hate it, but it's better than no job.”

Then it suddenly hit me that the reason why some of my clients and others with good business ideas refuse to start their own business is due to some kind of fear that has incapacitated them!

It was like having an “Aha!” moment. I realised the cause of some people continually coming to the same course and asking the same questions yet moving no further is the fear of starting.

A little bit of online research showed that thousands of people are in this category. What is shocking is that I have heard so many awesome business ideas that I know would work well if the entrepreneur were committed to the venture. Yet such ideas remain what it is; an idea until someone has a similar thought from another place, another time and then put it to work.

what a dopey book. but there was one jewel. ray kroc started mcdonalds when 52. so maybe worth buying.

NOT recommended

"Not even Donald Trump knows EVERYTHING." If you trust advice from someone who thinks Donald Trump knows most things, then by all means, purchase this book. I found it underwhelming across the board.
