Slow

This story was slow with too much repetitive internal dialogue. I liked that it was a clean, quick, and easy listen. I'm happy to report that I started book 2, and the first chapter of it is already more interesting than book 1.

Like the book but….

Wanted so much to love this book but the narrator made it so unenjoyable. She is monotone and just couldn’t bring the book to life !

Good story about where home is

I liked the story line. The descriptions were well written and I could picture myself in the setting

That they all returned home and reunited their family and saved the family home and rekindled a lost love

Unfortunately, the narrator sounded

It could have been a good and enjoyable book, but the narrator sounded like she was reading a set of instructions, no expression and very monotone. Almost painful to listen to.
