Great story and the narrator was amazing. Omlete? My Bryce.. wow... Wish there were more audio books ready

A new type fantasy

This book and the MC brings a new angle to the fantasy genre. The MC is more than he seems at first and the cute wolfie girl is great. This is a great first book in a new epic adventure. Cant wait for the story to continue.

Great first new book in series

Enjoyed the book with its interwoven stories all leading to a bigger plot. Looking forward to book 2. The love interests are enjoyable and can’t wait for more people to join the pack.

Different but great

I didn’t expect to like this book during the first chapter but it very quickly gets good.

Awkward with Strong Bones

There is a really strong structure and world in this story, but the awkward writing and packing detract, but not enough to entirely ruin the story.
It reads very much like the author's first book. There are a lot of awkward time jumps or simply stating that characters now know or act a way that they never had before. It struggles with the idea of "show dont tell" but the narrative and character interaction is strong enough to have kept me reading all the way through.

I have higher hopes for the second book because I've seen the author do far better with his other series.
