Critic reviews

"René Auberjonois...lends the proper air of gravitas to his performance. With the underlying story featuring zombies and the undead, it takes the sober Auberjonois to help maintain the credibility of the plot. His sincere delivery is perfect for a strange story that is more than a little creepy."—AudioFile Magazine on CEMETERY DANCE
"[A] suspenseful tale of urban terror...this taut page-turner can only add to the authors' growing fan base."—Publishers Weekly on CEMETERY DANCE
"Narrator As Pendergast discovers that his beloved wife kept a myriad of secrets, Auberjonois's characterization dramatizes the special agent's confusion over his wife's loyalty."—AudioFile

Favorite narrator! Favorite characters! Don’t miss this series in its entirety! Pendergast is amazing! Really would love to see a meeting between he and Lincoln rhyme! Jeffrey deaver has my second favorite detective series and to have Lincoln meet Pendergast…..

Rest In Peace to the unnamed narrator, Rene auberjenois! Epic series!

First allow me to say that I am a huge Preston & Child / Agent Pendergast fan. I am usually thrilled by the tales of this quirky, eccentric Sherlock-Holmesian FBI agent and his unorthodox approach to crime solving. This story was not one of my favorites however. I think it was the fact that this tale was very personal for the sleuth. One of the things I like about the Pendergast stories is that he seems so detached from the drama in the story. But in this story, it is all about him and his own tragic love and loss. Don't get me wrong, Pendergast is Pendergast. I'm not saying that I am disappoointed. I'm just saying that, IMO, it is not one of his better adventures.

Strange title for a strange tale
