Loved this audiobook! Such a fun and easy listen. The narrator really brought the characters and story to life. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the books in this series so keep them coming!!!

Heart eyes!

This story was just what I needed for a rainy weekend at home. I’ve read a few of Samantha Baca’s books in the last few months, and I’m really enjoying them.

Loved the characters - the narrator made them easily distinguishable. I chuckled quite a few times. I’ve said it before - a narrator can make or break an audio book. I like this narrator a lot, especially for these genre books.

Fifth Wheel is book #5 (last one) in the Beaumont Creek series. I was so excited for this one and binged it! And WOW! We have been introduced to Lia throughout the series, so finally getting her story is ah-mazing! She is very independent, strong-willed, but also extremely vulnerable. Dr. Mason Dickson (or Dr. D!ckhead as she so sweetly calls him) is not only her new neighbor, but has become her self-proclaimed protector and caregiver. When these enemies turn into lovers, oh mama! The pages are burning up with spice. I absolutely LOVE these two together. Mason is the perfect cinnamon roll boyfriend and won't let Lia get away with anything or away from him. This is an enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, rom-com standalone, but most of the characters from the series are tied in with the story. READ. ALL. THESE. BOOKS. You won't be disappointed.

The narration was great! Chloe Goddard did an amazing job with voicing ALL the characters. 5/5 stars!!

Like margaritas with a dear friend

Ironically, I listened to this as I was recovering from foot surgery, so I can definitely empathize with Lia, the FMC, though my recovery has been far less exciting! This well told story was narrated in such a fun way it really felt like I was catching up with a girlfriend at the Tipsy Taquito and hearing one of her wild adventures. Seems the narrator really gets the characters and immerses you in the juicy retelling. Can’t wait to listen to the next one!
