Cocky. Filthy. Player.

Tatum Trevino waltzed into my life like he owned it. The renowned soccer star showed up as my new coach and changed everything.

Until rumors started flying about the bad-boy prodigy kicked off his team. I thought he was nothing but another cocky playboy, but there was another side to him under the facade.

Late training sessions, secret getaways, and a delicious sleeve of tattoos led to temptation. We kept our relationship private, but I wasn’t the only secret he was keeping.

And it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out.

This storyline was full of troupes I enjoy- sports romance (especially female athletes), age gap and a hint of forbidden with the coach/player dynamic. Tatum and Brea had the instant attraction to each other and this story started out strong. But it took a few turns later on that I wasn’t crazy about so I ended up slightly disappointed by the end. But the epilogue was cute. Still an entertaining read.

Nothing bad to say, but not very different from other books I have read. Maybe I need a break into another genre for a while, but I just felt... meh. The Hero was all wrapped in himself and started using the Heroines training to amuse himself while he was forced out of his real life. That was it. She didn't have a great reaction, but why would she? He really put her out without explaining any real reason behind it. Some character development, but it felt reserved. I had no problem with the performance. I just felt the story didn't have anything really special to keep it memorable. It was entertainment for entertainments sake.

You don’t need to read the first book but if you want to....
The first book that started the “Hero Club Series” Soraya and Graham’s story Is “Stuck-Up Suit” by ViKeeland and Penelope Ward it took me forever to figure it out.

Good
