Finding Family - Crispin and Dylan

When Crispin reveals that he is gay to his lifelong friend, Dylan, Dylan outs Crispin to his father who in a fury disowns Crispin and throws him from his home into a blizzard. Believing himself abandoned, Crispin leans over a bridge railing ready to fall into a river when Jason, a police officer, offers Crispin an alternative, safe place to consider other options. Crispin accepts and Jason takes Crispin to the home he shares with his father. There Crispin experiences a caring home life. Rather than being despised, Crispin learns his brother, Ash, and school friends accept that he is gay. They love him for his character. Meanwhile, Dylan suffers a life-threatening beating by his homophobic father only to be rescued by Crispin and Jason who bring Dylan into the family. The two boys reconcile and explore their love as boyfriends. Ash accepts his brother's love for Dylan as he explores his love for Beth.
