Katie Fetner is at her wit’s end and frustrated that her landlord has given her only one week to move before he sells the building. Luckily, she stumbles upon a real estate office, hoping they can help her find somewhere quickly.

Kyle Mitchell sees Katie every day at the coffee shop, and he is completely enamored with her, but he’s still trying to gather the courage to say hello. When Katie appears in his office, Kyle has to force himself to act like a professional, not the love-struck man he becomes when she is around.

As Kyle shows Katie around, he keeps his fingers crossed that she will pick a particular apartment. When Katie finds this out, she’s leery of the offer and wonders if she should look elsewhere.

With one last chat over coffee, Katie and Kyle will decide whether they can build something or if his failure to inform her will destroy any chances of a happily ever after.
