Ziggy Johnson has been through one of the worst years of her life, but when she is roomed with Lana Waverly, a pompous woman with no concept of empathy, things take a turn for the worst. Ziggy does her best to cope with her roommate's undesirable behavior, and in the process, she learns that there is much more to the other woman than she thought.

I enjoyed listening to this. I thought the voice-to-text idea was original and was well done by the narrator. The narrator also did a great job with the laryngitis part. I could identify with raising a child and then looking back and realizing that you made some parenting errors. I also thought it was refreshing to see the possible perspective of homophobic parents, rather than just portraying them as bad guys. Lastly, I thought having the pompous woman consider majoring in philanthrophy was a nice touch because it showed that she really did have a good heart.
