Ellie Abela’s life has been anything but easy. Tragedy follows her wherever she goes, and she’s been a lot of places. Each is searching for a cure to the things in their lives dragging them down.

Not all cures are black and white; not all cures save us - and sometimes, saving isn’t what we need. Sometimes, we just need to realize how lucky we are to be alive, at least for this moment.

Wholesome and sweet

This story is completely different than what I am used to but so wholesome, sweet, and heartbreaking. It’s a simple listen and storyline is beautiful. The narrator brings the characters to life and did a fabulous job. First time listening to this narrator and first work of this author I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Definitely recommend this to those who don’t want cliffhangers, angst, or plot twist. This is straight to the point and such a beautiful love amongst father/daughter, brother/sister who are like father/daughter and two lovers.

This book was pure heart felt and boy did it make me cry. This story hits so close to home! Highly recommended this book!

New author for me

OK wow.... I struggled at the beginning of this book getting used to narration... once I adjusted to her sound I easily fell into the fabulous story... it hit on some hard topics but it was a strong story.... I will definitely listen to more from this author.

Sweet heartfelt story!

This was such a touching story that makes you feel a range of emotion. I liked the narration. It was easy to keep track of who was talking in the story and her voice is easy to listen to. I would listen to more from this author.

I fell in love

I absolutely loved this story. I have never read anything by this author and I fell in love.

I enjoyed the characters and could not help but want to read more. It was a great story. It was emotional and kept drawing me back. I was sad when it ended.
