The voice reading was mechanical and several times grammatically incorrect which distracted from the narrative.

Peculiar people

My family joined the Latter Day Saints in the early 1800’s and have been part of GOD’s “Peculure” people ever since. John Pontius has captured our peculiarity perfectly. I know John has long since gone to his eternal rest, but I am thankful for what seems like a continuation of his testimony here.

I enjoyed it right up to the… Wait, there’s no ending. Where’s the ending?

My inability to find the second book? Is this a series? There’s no indication of where to go next.

Edifying and soul enriching.

This is a wonderful, faithful story. I love this story, it has everything I could want in novel; there is depth of characters, their growth, plot twists, action, intrigue, and powerful, edifying faith. I love all that I have read from this author, and deeply regret his passing because he has enriched and touched my life. Everything of his I have read has strengthened my faith. Thank you brother for being one of Gods instruments in my personal faith journey, and spiritual education.
