A breathtaking finale to an unforgettable trilogy

My friend and I got into the Silverwing trilogy recently. This is truly such a gripping story for young adults and even most audiances alike. I never thought I would care for bats so much, but Kenneth Oppel has become a new favorite.

The most beautiful description of the afterlife I’ve ever read.

The title explains it all, read this book, read this series. Praise to Kenneth Oppel.

What did you love best about Firewing?

I love it because, shade is such a hard worker for his family, the only thing that I didn't like was that when the book finished it didn't feel like it was done mentally or in general.

Hate that they’re removing this - finished the series hours before the app says it’s going to be “removed.” Audible is loosing a great series

A great conclusion to a childhood favorite

I reread this series to see if one of my childhood favorites held up as an adult, and I am pleased to say it did not disappoint. Exiting and fast paced, emotional and humorous, it has everything you could want. There are interesting themes and existential questions provided in a easily consumable way for young readers, and well-realized characters that stick with you long after you finish.
