Cute and short

This was such a cute little story to listen too. I appreciated the epilogue. This is good if you’re looking for a quick love story boost. I wish that there were male and female actors for this story.

I liked the fact that book was not filled with sex like most interracial books on Audible is. A true when Harry met Sally book.

It makes it seem as if the only reason White men want Black women is for sex. It is a concept dating back to slavery, where it was said Black women were ALWAYS ready for sex. It was to justify RAPE. So yeah not a fan of these kind of FETISH book. This book was nothing like the others on this platform!!! This was more like a love story, which I wholeheartedly enjoyed. I need more books like this here book.

​This book was a sweet, charming love story—the literary equivalent of the perfect cookie. While the representation was a nice inclusion, I fear that the storyline itself is too slight to be memorable. Ultimately, despite the spice and the initial sweetness, nothing of true significance elevates this book to a higher, more lasting tier for me. It's an unfortunately forgettable read.

the narration is terrible. Its awkward, mispronounced and distracting would never have listened if I had noticed it was virtually voiced
