When we last left Pastor Gregg Davis, he cheated on his wife with his best friend Victoria. Shortly after the affair, Victoria unexpectedly left. Months later she shows up at the church pregnant while Gregg is giving a moving sermon. Amidst whispers from the congregation, Gregg’s wife Ava offers again for Victoria to stay with them. While under the same roof, Victoria confesses again her love for Gregg, only now he is indeed wondering if he chose the wrong woman to be his wife. Feelings that neither of them knew were there have long since been suppressed and now both have found that they do indeed love one another, yet Pastor Gregg strongly believes that God told him Ava was to be his wife. Darren Lewis and Pastor Kelly Grant dated six months more than a decade ago. They had a mutual breakup due to her beliefs about premarital sex. Jokingly, Darren tells her that one day she will call him to get her needs met. To his surprise, more than a decade later, she does in fact call and decides that the needs of the flesh must be met. She asks him to set up a discreet weekend getaway. Neither of them is prepared for the physical, mental, and spiritual chemistry that they discover between them. He is left wondering if he should have waited all those years ago, and she wonders if she should have given in to his desires. They both wonder what could have been. This is a book about sin, redemption, faith, betrayal and hope. All the things that one would think would be found in the world but happens every day in many churches.

It was good but I didn’t care about Darrin and Kelly story at all. It was added too late.

I understand this is your story but it was randomly thrown in there. The story with Darrin and Kelly. All I cared about is Ava and Gregg I fast forwarded whenever Kelly and Darrin story came up. It was random.
