Now in its fifth year, this competition is part of the Farnham Fringe Festival which takes place in the regency town of Farnham at the start of the Surrey hills in the UK, aka at the gateway to Jane Austen country.
We look for entries upto 500 words and offer 3 prizes. the first prize is £75 for the overall winner and £25 for the runner-up , then a further £25 for the best story featuring Farnham Town.
All long listred entries are offered the chance to be published in our competition booklet and we run an awards ceremony in the Summer Gardens of the Farnham Museum.
