As the First Millennium draws to a close, violent strangers force the people of the clans to flee from their homes along a river in Central Asia. As these strangers threaten the clans, a young boy receives the first of many visions. That boy will be renamed Defender. His father gives him a nickname, Dee, and warns him that the source of his visions may be demonic. Blinded by his ambition to become the leader of the twenty clans, Dee ignores his father’s warning. The people of the clans are convinced that Dee’s visions are genuine. They follow his visions all the way to the Asian shore of the Bering Strait. They build boats following Dee’s visions to cross over to North America. Once they reach North America, Dee’s visions stop. As they journey south along the coast, for the first time one of Dee’s visions is proven false. But Dee is older and now ready to accept his father’s warning. He still has an important role to play in aiding the clans to find a new home in the new world they now live in. Christian Fiction Genre Fiction
