A fascinating and complete history of the interdependent relationship between sheep and civilization right through to modern times. Thoroughly researched, beautifully written, and masterfully read! Admittedly, I am a shepherdess, a hand, spinner, knitter, and weaver but I think this book would hold interest for anyone who enjoys history and gaining arcane knowledge about every day things. Not the least bit dry or boring! Highly recommended!
