predictable and lazy writing

characters were not lovable. plot was predictable. writing was lazy. sending a text to the wrong person was used as plot, I just find that a weak plot driver. overall not the worst, but not memorable.

Read this for book club and thought it was a charming story. Fun and sexy with great narration.

Really enjoyed the writing, the story was fun and kept me interested! The narration sounded a little to seductive for my liking with the main character but still good! I’ll definitely be reading more from this author!

Mela is so deeply compelling as a narrator, and brings this fun enemies to lovers romance to life!

Story good, narrator not

This was a fun, predictable romance with good characters. The narrator's breathiness and slow speech drove me crazy but I wanted to listen to the story. I could stand her at 1.2 X speed.
