Sol is smart, ruthless, and loyal to the people closest to him. Especially Casper, who is his father’s best friend. Things get complicated when Sol falls for Yeremy, Casper’s daughter. She’s off-limits. But the connection between Sol and Yeremy is too strong to for him to ignore.

As they start a secret relationship, the world around them begins to fall apart. Friends turn into enemies as lies come to light.

This book was good. However towards the end it felt rushed. It would be great if there was a part two to address unanswered questions. The narrators were great. Winston James narration was excellent as usual.

Enjoyable

This was a good book, the men on in the book were very arrogant and somewhat turned me off, but I did enjoy them at the same time. The family dynamic was a bit weird I get wanting to protect your kid but the day was a bit much. That friend Bianca she need to play in traffic.

There was something missing about this story. Winston James is the best of the best but even he couldn't save the story. It tried to be a hood love story but it didn't have any excitement. I didn't connect with any of the characters 😕

Story was just ok...

so many people asked is there a part two and I see why. there's drama a pinch of spice but the way it's all connected never really gets explained and it falls very flat with lots of unanswered questions
