What would you do if being with the woman of your dreams meant sabotaging your career?

That's the exact situation high-profile executive Leigh Marshall finds herself in when she falls hard for her golf pro, who also happens to be an ex-con. Her board of directors haven't gotten the memo regarding workplace equality and who she sleeps with is still more important than her stellar qualifications.

Peyton Broader has no interest in anything other than keeping her head down, reporting to her parole officer, and getting her life back. Oh yeah, and making up for nine years of celibacy. The last thing she needs is to lose her job or get sucked into other people's drama, no matter how hot and tempting the woman is. So why can't she stay away from Leigh?

I enjoyed this book but had some reservations throughout. The narrator was great as usual in conveying the character voice and emotions. The characters had so much chemistry, they sizzled at times. I found myself saying "come on already, whyyyyyyy are you both doing this to yourselves...just take the leap!!" As the book went on, i got incredibly frustrated with one of the characters and almost stopped listening. Despite it all, i still liked the book and would recommend it. Just be ready to be mad for a bit.

Decent Book!

I wish there was more to the story, this book could have included Lizzy a lot more making thus more of a drama instead of a romance. Peyton in her efforts to get Leigh the satisfaction if her protection could have introduced her to Lizzy. The story could have included the kidnapping and shooting. I think it would have been great to see what there life was like in the first few months and how Lieghs friends and family are adjusting to the new relationship.

Cute Story
