Forest Shadow

The Circle of Eternal Shadows' purpose is to confine the Shadow that dwells within the forest. This creature traps the souls of those it encounters. All could be lost if the Shadow were to break from its confinement.

Crox visits the forest where he had a horrific car crash years earlier. He was saved from death by a tiny kitten that lived in the woods. He names the life-saving kitten Lucky. While walking in the woods, he comes across a black cat with emerald green eyes, the same color Lucky had.

Crox realizes he can hear the cat telepathically, who tells him his name is Jax, and he needs his help to save the souls trapped by the Shadow.

Shadowy fun

I really enjoyed the fast pace and the thrill of each chapter you never knew what was coming around the corner. I was mesmerized to the very end.
