Turn and burn…
Cody ‘Armadillo’ Fuller never expected that coming home to Texas would shine a spotlight on some of the more neglected parts of his life. He had given the Air Force everything, only to realize just how much he missed the very home that he’d been fighting to defend on the opposite side of the world… and how empty it was.

The next phase of the mission…
Delilah spends every second of each day capturing precious moments on film—and hiding away from her own life. Divorced and rejected, the single mom gives up everything for herself… until now. She never thought she could deserve love, but the suave cowboy that won’t leave her alone is awfully persuasive.

Could she learn to let down her guard, trust someone, and learn to love again?

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Armadillo's story is a great example that nice guys do not finish last.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️If that "Barbie" line knocked my socks off then that first kissing scene melted me into a puddle of love and tender warmth.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️A woman hurt and burnt by love, one who has no interest in a relationship and if she did, she would be afraid to take the leap. Delilah never expected a man like Cody. This sweet story will grab your hearts and make you want to give Cody a hug .

I just love the character of Cody! I pictured him as a tall, slender, handsome, Texas boy. Having grown in the south, that makes him attractive off the bat! It was somewhat heart-wrenching to hear what Delilah had gone through with that useless, self-serving husband. Not to mention her having to experience the harm that came to her friend from her former boyfriend. Cody exuded patience and love for Delilah, who wouldn’t love that? It seemed like most everything he did he did to please Delilah, especially with Luke. I loved the little twist at the end of meeting Delilah‘s ex-husband, certainly put a grin on my face! It was wonderful that they both found each other! As a sidenote, the epilogue made my jaw drop, I absolutely loved it! Also, it was really enjoyable to have Ginny Sterling bring in some characters from other series ( i.e. John Griffin) ones that I had already read and thoroughly enjoyed! BTW, it seems Tyler, Texas is the bees knees!
