A Wonderful and Exciting Boy Scout!

This book includes a wonderful example of how people can have short, brief period of time together and have the feelings last a lifetime. Jax was ready to meet someone and fall in love. Mary was perfect for him, being timid and reluctant he was her defender and geeky friend. Their commonalities drew them together, and it was sweet to see how close they could become. Throughout the series, I have somewhat questioned the fact that many of these fly boys get married without the presence of their families in attendance, many not knowing at all. I just wondered how that went over with the feelings of some families. I would think that there were some moms and dads or sisters and brothers that felt left out of their sons or daughter‘s or sister’s and brother’s life life. I think that Jax was one of my favorite characters because he was so open and honest and came across like a big Boy Scout. He was honest to the point that he would admit being embarrassed. His thoughtfulness was something anyone would love to see in their own marriage. I agree with Mary, she had found paradise! His description of the meaning of the colors that would be admitted from their message in a bottle with so touching and sweet. I had never heard those before, but they seemed so appropriate. The immediate results right after were amazing! Ginny, I loved that creativity! This was definitely one of my favorite books in the series. Jax was a great character so loving so giving and so protecting! I also laughed at the relationship between Alpo and Glory, they are both hilarious! Funny side note: I have seen throughout the series, the deluge of pilots leaving the Air Force and pictured it with just Riley, as ornery as he is, sitting there by himself! Yonder seems to be the best place to be if you want good friends and a happy life! Read or listen to this one it is a wonderful story!
