Signal detected, target sighted…
Lee ‘Romeo’ Tarrant was positive that the woman before him was his unwanted blind date - until she told him he was acting like a child. What kind of introduction was that? He hadn’t felt such an instant attraction so fast, nor cooled his ardor, not since he lost his wife. Having the one good thing in his world stolen away - he never expected to feel that missing ember rekindled again with a single glance.

Approach objective carefully and use caution…
Dixie Lancaster knew this had to be a mistake - or the man hitting on her was in for a rude awakening. Being widowed was hard enough to cope with and brought new challenges. Crushing the morale of this persuasive and gorgeous man was not what she signed up for as her sister’s bridesmaid.

She wasn’t looking for a relationship - and never expected to find someone that understands what she is going through right now - until she discovers that the mouthy but mysterious Adonis is also grieving, too.

Could two unexpected strangers become the best of friends - or perhaps something more?

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Breathe! So emotional, so heart wrenching, and so undeniably sweet!

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The best in the series so far, and all of the books have been amazing. Deeply felt, heart wrenching back stories of two people.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I don’t believe I have ever smiled or laughed as much as I have while reading this series.

This was one of the hardest stories to listen to. Your heart ache for both Lee and Dixie. What loss, heartache, and yearning. When Lee was trying to approach the relationship with an open heart, and Dixie still couldn’t open up, that was tough! I was grateful for the fly boys and them stepping in and helping both Dixie and Lee in completely separate ways. Dixie, given some time realized how deeply she felt for Lee. I truly loved the end of the book and their expressions of love for each other, and the fact that they would be there for everything. I’ve also noted that through some of the books Ginny Sterling uses the word “always”, such a simple word, but it means so much! It always touched my heart in the manner she used it. This particular book was so kind and gentle, loaded with patience and love. Great story!
