From Death to Life!

The backstory for Derek was well presented and conjured up a lot of mystery and sadness. I enjoyed Toni’s pursuit of Derek. When they were able to meet, it was almost predestined that they would come to care for each other. I thought Mari’‘s interrogation of Derek was to the point. I was glad to see that she recognized that Derek needed backup. Asking Valkyrie to give defense lessons to Derek resulted in an overwhelming smack down, like placing a mountain on an ant hill. I was awed when Derek was able to take Valkyrie, if only once! At the end of the day, I was relieved and happy that Derek was able to find joy and happiness and devoted love, with Toni She came across as a sweet and loving lady. What a great ending, I loved it!

The narration killed it for me. The story itself was engaging but every time I started to get into it the narration would just be so bad that I couldn't stay engaged.
