great listen

The performance from Andrea and the story in and of itself are fantastic there's a little bit less fighting then the last book and it was just great.

Outstanding

This is an excellent addition to an extremely good series. Somehow the author has the ability to create an MC who has a heart, while not sounding like milk-toast. Many MC’s that are brought to another world, somehow quickly forget the societal norms they had existed with, and seem to match the mannerisms across all levels of a alien society. The MC here encounters trouble many times and ways due to an inability to shift his paradigm after just a couple months. This and many other small bits makes this an outstanding installment in this series. The narrator is Andrea Parsneau, which means the characters, but, and main, are given individual life, and the story overall is given the visceral feel of reality. Very much looking forward to next in series.

Enjoyed this book and the series so far and Andrea Parsneau is Amazing once again.

I like Daniel Schinhofen’s writing a lot. Good character development and a fun story. Andrea Parsneau once again does a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life. She is an amazing talent. My only concern is that the overall story arc is quite large, and the series goes at a one day at a time pace. The writing is good, so the journey is enjoyable but it makes me wonder how many books it will take to get the whole story.

fantastic series

most of the time I am not into a goody goody extremely over powered MC, but this series is great with plot and character interaction. the narration is awesome.
the only trouble with andrea is she is so popular now that a book may come out and take 6 to 9 months to make it to audio version. I really like all the series she narates for my favorite authors but, gee, the wait is killing me. I am hanging on like 8 different series.
of course I recommend this to anyone who likes this genre. you wont find better.

I just keeps getting better

I have been hooked on this series since book one and have never been let down on the subsequent books. the MC is perfect human that makes mistakes but not stupid ones. MC knows when to listen to the brains of the operation, his wives, and when he needs to just follow his gut. excellent job Mr. Schinhofen. Mrs Parsneau voice still stuns me with how well she can do male voices, and I have listened to several of her narrations at this time. The many different types of voices needed for this book impressed me and as i have come to expect from Andrea's work there was emotion and depth in all of them. The voices matched thier characters so well it was masterful.
