confusing

it was difficult to keep all the characters straight since they have no relevance to the story until the end. Also all the characters but Ryland were unlikable, especially the main character.

I am hooked

I really enjoyed this series .I hope there is more to come. You have to be patient with the characters,but they do grow on you. Narration is perfect and makes all the difference in the world. Thank you

Good storytelling

I like these characters and the multiple storylines. The narrator is good. Will read all of the books by this author.

Wes Markin’s books are excellent. The narrator brings the story to life in a way many other writers can’t bring to their stories.

Too disturbing to Finish

The depiction of child sexual abuse and long term damage to multiple interconnected individuals was too intense for me to finish. I have no complaint about the quality of the writing. The reader was quite good. It was just too disturbing for me.
