Great listen!

The narrator did great. She told the story so well

I liked Devora as the MC, even though she starts out as a horribly self centered person, she grows up pretty quick when she’s sent to the fortress.

General Blake has my attention! I want to know more about his family.

I also really like a lot of the side characters. I’m kinda shipping One Shot and the tinkerer together.

The plot is good, I liked we got to see Devora make friends, and train. I did think some things came a little too easier for her, and but it doesn’t take away from the story too much.

I’d like to see her be stronger in her faith when things don’t go her way the first time, but I have a feeling that will come in later books, which I totally plan on reading!

I loved the little Bible stories through out!

Content: clean, some violence but nothing too descriptive, one kiss, no swearing

The world building

This story is beautiful written and beautifully narrated in this audiobook. It’s a must for those who love caraval and forth wing.
