One lapse in judgment has ripple effects I never saw coming.

Legal battles, jail time, and league punishments don't faze me as much as losing the two people who are most important to me.

I'm still learning how to navigate these relationships, especially as they've started to pay the price for my actions. The fear of losing them grows stronger each day, and I don't know how to fix things between us.

I'm determined to make forward progress and rebuild what I've destroyed. I just hope it isn't too late.

Forward Progress is the fourth book in the Vegas Aces: The Playbook series, which must be listened to in order.

I don’t like the male narrator in this story at all. He cusses too much. His character seems harsh and negative too often. It might get just be the male narrator that I just don’t like. On the other hand, maybe I don’t like the authors writing. I don’t understand why the author or producer would choose narrators whose voice fit the age of the character. The male narrator in this story sounds like he’s in his 60’s. Callie Dawson could have done both the male and narrators parts. Duet narration is best.
