Zom-Poc story told from unique POV.

Recently I was offered a review copy of Four Days Until Dead by the author. Having read this novella in April of this year I figured why not. I enjoyed the story the first time around, so I wanted to see how it sounded with a narrator. Jay Ryan did an excellent job bringing the story to life and giving voice to each of the characters, especially Cameron. The following is my original review for the eBook from April 2024.

I recently finished listening to the Toward the Brink series and found I had the three prequels in my kindle library. Four Days Until Dead is the first of the prequel trilogy and to my knowledge the only post-apocalyptic zombie story told from patient zero’s POV. Along with this unique perspective the story provides an excellent glimpse of what is to come in the full series not to mention the precursor events leading up to the events to come. While this is a quick read the story and character development are very good and told in such a way that it works as a prequel or a stand-alone story to cap off the series.
