My favorite listen of the year so far!

The narrator is amazing, and perfect for the main character’s voice. I will be looking for more of her work.
I also really enjoyed the story and lovedddd the ending. Feels like it should be a movie!

The story had unexpected twists. The narrator delivered an amazing performance that gave each character their own spotlight. Great job.

A strong & entertaining story

The story has a nice edge & a couple of moments genuinely surprised me. Brianna’s side of things felt real & the dynamic with Noah added just enough tension. Victoria Rojas' narration made it easy to stay with the story.

Love This Story

I love a story that makes my pulse stutter and my stomach flinch. Fragile Steps does it when it’s unexpected. Serving up the best sorts of situations.
Fragile Steps is a walk through mind trips and original word smithery. The author, Stephen Duffy, begins this story laced in tragedy and torment. He lulls us, while we cradle Brianna through the unfairness of her fate. Watching as classmates torture her, and adults that should protect her, taunt her.
Unexpected turns of events are so smoothly integrated throughout Brianna’s story, I was regularly caught off guard—having to put myself in check, embarrassed at the glee I felt in being taken by surprise yet again. Fragile Steps has depth. It’s clever. It is well worth every minute spent buried in its pages.
Did I mention this is the author’s debut??

For the audible version, he chose Victoria Rojas. I’d say he chose well. Looks like Mr Duffy’s on a roll.

Narrator brought the story to life

The narrator did an outstanding job. Her performance added energy and personality to the characters and made the audiobook enjoyable overall. I’d definitely seek out more titles narrated by Victoria Rojas.
