Loved it!

I've been following Alex for two years now. Found her on TikTok and then on IG. a year ago I took the plunge and quit my job and started to learn a new skill with the advice and encouragement from Alex and a few others.
Like she says in the book this isn't a get rich quick scheme. This is full of practical advice and encouraging pushes to work hard and stay focused.
I highly recommend this book. Thank you Alex 🙌🏻

marketable information that one can build on

This book is enjoyable listening and well worth the time and money. I will review this book continually to help on my new self employment journey.

A Manual for Righteous Girl-Power

it's very rare for me to even give something five stars so I try to reserve that for only perfect things. with that being said, I think this book is overall a spectacular piece of practical information and knowledge that is being freely given over to those that will listen. I find it's mostly geared towards chicks, however I think dudes with their ego checked at the door can listen to this and appreciate the fact that this woman got on our feet on her own while still giving thanks to God and others that came before her. I think there is a couple of things that could be improved upon and mostly that's the fact that if she's going to give really hard. factual how to and pragmatic information about which social media apps to use and for what reason she should go just a little bit deeper and actually describe specific things. in other words, if you're going to preach about marketing, you have to go all the way. show me the numbers show me the growth rate. show me your acquisition and your churn and things like that. I think that I could see a part two of this book coming out. almost like an enhanced version of it with actual campaigns inside of it. I really love what she does and I'm all about it

Awesome motivating and insightful book, just one minor issue…

I’ve followed Alexandra for a little over a year now, She is captivating, direct, stern and commanding while also coming off as extremely welcoming, accessible and warm! Her voice comes off so much through this book, my only complaint is that she didn’t narrate it herself. Having done her own courses, videos and podcasts, it’s silly to think that she wouldn’t be able to read her own words as well!

It would have added extra value as well considering many authors who narrate their own books often go off-script and give extra insight one wouldn’t necessarily get by just reading the books text. Alexandra’s extra insight and personal anecdotes would have been HUGE additions to the listening experience here.

Jenny does a fine job of narrating the book. She’s pleasant to listen to. So nothing on her, except HER tone, doesn’t match Alexandra’s tone and voice that clearly comes through in her writing.

Solid read overall, highly recommend!
