Quality information

good book and quality information but I know there is more out there because the trucking industry is always evolving.

Basic Info

I originally rated this book lower, but am revising my rating. I did not enjoy this book, but I think some people might. It feels as if it was written by someone who really cares but it was just too basic for me. It basically tells you to get a job as a broker to learn this specific business and 75% of the content is about the basics of running any business, but it's a decent intro for someone brand new who needs some basic pointers.

Beginners need to read or listen first

loved it and I wished i would have finished listening to this before I attended my load training class.

Nice information

Very nice detailed information on the freight industry. I've been looking at transitioning from driving to freight brokering. This is a nice reference tool to have.

Should be required reading for every brokerage: from executives to agents & hr, company wide.

I enjoyed the concise nature of the book. I’ve recently inferred a role in our multi-decade, family owned brokerage. 6 months in, and it’s gems like this book that are aiding me in growing our business in any economy!
