This is the second part of Alexa Polidoro's famous French For Beginners course.

After many years of developing and harnessing her language-teaching skills with The French Ecole and Lingomania, Alexa has now created an audio treat for people who wish to learn a new language from scratch, without any pressure, in fun, relaxed and manageable chunks.

Highlights of the lessons 14-21: more useful vocabulary, colours, translation and language analysis, revision, asking questions with interrogative adverbs, more very useful verbs, past tense, meals, partitive articles, homework correction, 2nd group verbs and how to conjugate them, 3rd group verbs and how to conjugate them, reflexive verbs, and a whole lot more.

Get through this beginners series and you will have had the equivalent of a year-long university language program. Alexa is thorough, articulate and has an incredibly cute personality, which makes listening enjoyable. This has a supplemental guide to help with multiple learning, and is methodical in its programming. I tried listening to a couple of other "learn-French-in-a-day" programs, and they were unrealistic and useless. This one sticks!

My complaint is that Alexa is a little bit too wordy...she attempts to explain every little reason for why verbs conjugate a certain way, or where a word derives from...a lot of French language trivia. I would prefer to get on with the lessons, because she makes it so easy! One other complaint, she does not give enough time for practice of speech...repeating sentences or dialogue, or even responding to dialogue, which I really need.
