Very interesting Sequel to a great movie.

must listen with an open mind. Historical. very good performance and narration, narrator was perfect voice for Potter. there were parts that I felt didn't add to the story or move it along. Maybe it's just me. I recommend 👌

A pure joy to read this follow
-up to “It’s A Wonderful Life”! Fresh, new writing that truly delivers on the SURPRISING outcome of the original movie! Wish ALL Mr. Gooding books would become available in Audible! It would give people much delightful choices!!!

Using a well known disaster in the story.

I was really disappointed by this story. I had such great expectations and I feel let down. It was contrived and unconvincing.

loved the twisting saga of a most wonderful beloved story from my childhood. Such imagination!

Gooding's new addition very good

I am 63 & a life long Jimmy Stewart fan (both the person & his movies). I came to "It's a Wonderful LIfe" because it was Stewart, not because it was Christmas. Stewart was both movie star & WW2 hero airman by the time he & Capra made the movie, He battled his own demons, which made him extra believable in his role. The "happily ever after big Hollywood finish can make nostalgic viewers forget the gut wrenching parts. Author Gooding brings up logical questions we never contemplate while luxuriating in the pleasing movie ending during holidays. He does a masterful job of investigating the various questions he raises, builds squarely on the original story, but spins his own substantive addition, such that we end up loving crochety old Henry Potter as much as George Bailey. I read it in January & it was a great way to relax & begin a new year.
