“Evil has only the power that we give it.” — Ray Bradbury

Ever since her coma, Allison has been stuck in a loop of repeating Fridays. At first, it feels like a gift: She wins the lottery, prevents disasters, and even rights a few wrongs. But power quickly turns to paranoia when strange things start to happen.

Her best friend is hiding something. Is Allison being manipulated… or is her own mind turning against her?

Her family is trying to blackmail her. Even her husband is acting strangely.

As trust unravels and time resets, Allison must race to uncover the truth—before a deadly fate catches up with her. Only this time, Allison’s life is on the line.

Twisted secrets. A ticking clock. And one question that haunts her every Friday: What if this time… she doesn’t wake up?

It's a great story. The AI narration is passable and I can understand how it should sound, but would be better with human readers. Hopefully it will improve soon...

Anyway, the story is thought provoking, for sure! I've wondered what I might do if I had super powers, or won the lottery. I'd like to think I would use my resources for good, but honestly, I could see myself doing some very selfish things. Allison and Landru are relatable in this scenario. Not only does abundant power and wealth put stress on their relationship, but they find out the terrible lengths others will go to in order to exploit them.

The author does an excellent job of revealing enough information to build suspense, while keeping the next step of the plot in the dark. I found myself blurting out "OH NO!" a few times with headphones on, which alarmed and annoyed my wife. I really hope there's a sequel!

Great suspense! Supernatural Mystery
