The ghost asks the right questions and seems to know who she is but Hadley is suspicious … even as part of her doesn’t’ want to be.

Upon making it home, it becomes obvious that the shadowy killer is trying to make his way to Moonstone Bay. He has a past there … and it’s not a nice one.

It’s going to take all of Hadley’s efforts — as well as those of her friends – to solve this one. Who is the shadow on the other plane? Why does he want to come back? More importantly, who is that ghost with Hadley’s mother’s face?

Things are about to get crazy on Moonstone Bay. This time, when the dust settles, things will never be the same.

Another great story

Lots of great characters lots of worry lots of stress and dose of good run of the meal love. You’ll love this book.

I'm so addicted to the mind of this author. she can wear a tale better than a spider and is web. keep them coming please.

Whiny voice for main character

I read all the Amanda Lee books but evidently I’ve not listened to any of this particular series before. This narrator uses a high-pitched whiny voice for the main character which is grating. And when she narrates, she uses a rather stilted way of talking, like she’s trying to over annunciate each word. I find myself zoning out instead of listening to the story. I will finish the book but I need to make a point of noting this narrator so I can avoid anything else she reads. It’s almost worse than AI

This series really grew

If you go back and listen from the beginning, you will understand the series has been on an upward trajectory from there. More complexity. A great mix of characters. Just top-notch world building. Loved it.

Would be nice to see ANY personality development of the MC.

(DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SPEED THE AUDIO UP - it makes the cadence of the narrator considerably more palatable).

This MC seems to have literally nothing in her life to bring depth to her personality. Her spoiled reactions to literally everything are not easy to sit and listen to.

Clearly this character triggers me, as one of my previous closest loved ones showed these types of paranoid and narcissistic traits. I wish the character were a little more palatable.
