Ally Martinez’s best one yet!

I’ve read many Ally Martinez books over the years and I loved them all. But this one is just…WOW! It’s unexpected, sad, painful, funny, touching, joyful and impossible to put in pause. I’m about to listen again, it was that good. And I want to go back and hear it again with the knowledge of the twists to come. The narration was perfection, bringing the story to life.

Wow! What a ride! This book is fabulous. Aly is always an instant buy for me but I think this is her best book yet. So many twists and turns. But the love shone through it all. It's so well written. I'm sure I will listen to it more than once. Both narrators did a great job also.

One of my favorite kind of books to read is one where the couple faces circumstances together without any stupid breakups and this was perfect.

FOUND A NEW AUTHOR I ENJOYED

This is my first book from this author and I was not disappointed. Don’t wanna give too much away. I loved the ups n downs of this story. Well worth the credit for me. I will for sure be looking into more of this authors work😁

Another amazing story!

I discovered Aly Martinez just last week. I loved my first read/listen from her and immediately followed it up with this one. This well-written story is full of emotion, suspense, sweetness, and a minor amount of steam. I couldn’t stop listening. Erin Mallon isn’t at the top of my list of female narrators, but I thought she did a good job with this one and I enjoyed her performance. Connor Crais did an amazing job with his narration. He’s one of my favorites and never fails to disappoint.

The reason I rated the story as four stars instead of five is due to the plot twist that occurs near the end of the book. I felt like the character (I don’t want to say who and spoil the plot) giving such a full explanation and being so free with information of all the “whys” and “hows” was not very realistic. Other than that the story is amazing!

I’m so glad I discovered Aly’s books. I’ll be adding a lot more of her stories to my library.
