Rylynn: Ember to a flame, our pain started a passion fire that I couldn't burn out. I wanted to be his light in the dark. He needed me. I would give him everything I had to give.

Crow: I had seen a lot in my life. Felt even more. Nothing touched this.

Every time I had something good, life had this way of taking it from me. Could she be different? Only with a passion burning so hot I didn't know if life would allow me to handle the flame.

We were connected in pain, fueled in fire, and we could only hope neither of us would come out of this...scorched and scarred.

One star off because of Grier's character. A lot of secrets revealed about Crow, his past, and lineage.

Crow's son being a brat was entirely too forced right from the beginning. He was 16 not 12. Believing his parents would get back together when they were never together during his lifetime was idiotic no matter what his mother told him. Him showing up at his dad's place calling Ry a whore was ridiculous. This kid was supposedly a good kid and respectful and he pulls that even after Ry told him his dad wanted her there? No. Too forced to make him unlikeable and it continued throughout this and the next book. I get it, it was done for a redemption later but it was still unbelievable.

Other than that, this was a great addition to Crow and Rylynn's story. Crow has to deal with what he learned about his past and then an unexpected death rocked him even further. During that time he made a mistake that drove Rylynn back to Sumner.

Dealing with club business, his kids and their crazy moms, his loss, and secrets made him realize how much he needed Ry and her love. Rylynn was dealing with her own loss, her job, and the fact that she crossed a line with Crow she never thought she would. Could she forgive him for his betrayal when she thought they would have everything?

Narration was amazing! Story flow was great. The only 3 book romance series that I relisten to over and over. It's literally that good.

Love!!!

Definitely an emotional roller coaster ride, with all its twists, turns, ups, downs. Crow and Rylynn prove once again that they are explosive together, and more so when they are apart from one another. This story has it all; heartbreak, passion, it was heartwarming, emotional, add in a feisty female who knows how to hold her own, and a sexy hot alpha male who knows what he wants and goes after it will all that he has, which leads us on one exhilarating journey.
Narration is perfection!
